Find out the answers to our frequently asked questions in preparation for your stay at the Cairn Hotel Newcastle.

All new advanced purchase & pre-paid reservations booked from 17th March 2020 for any future arrival date will be liable for charge. Should you wish to maintain the right to cancel free of charge then we strongly recommend booking one of our “best flexible” rates.

Check-in at the Cairn Hotel Newcastle is 2pm and check-out is at 12pm. Early check-in and late check-out options are available at an extra cost but are subject to availability.

Free parking is available to the rear of the hotel, accessible via Acorn Road.

WiFi is available throughout the hotel at no extra cost.

With close proximity to the central motorway and limited on-site parking, The Cairn Hotel Newcastle boasts excellent transport links. Turn off onto Osborne Road and continue straight — our car park is located to the rear of the hotel.

Newcastle is our closest railway station, which boasts transport links to most major cities across the UK. To get here, simply hop on the Metro to West Jesmond,  cross over the bridge and walk past the Sainsbury’s to St Georges Terrace. Keep walking straight up and turn left onto to Osborne Road and our hotel will be on the left-hand side.

The hotel’s communal areas, restaurant and bar are accessible although unfortunately our rooms are unsuitable.
